Still catching up on news from the holiday break:
- The above image was circulated as a supposed real photograph from a studio makeup test with Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin. That's almost certainly bunk, but it's a nifty photoshop job, huh?
- Io9 has a Batman: The Year in Review feature if you're interested in what's been going on with the Dark Knight other than just being in The Dark Knight.
- And after Eartha Kitt's passing, some more sad news. Pat Hingle, who played Commissioner Gordon in four of the 1989-1997 Batman movies, died on Saturday at the age of 84. Those movies never did justice to Jim Gordon, but Hingle was a fine actor and did an excellent job with the material he was given. Check out this article at AICN for a little more about the man.

Just dropping a comment to you.
This is on the list of websites I check everday. From looking at the polls, and from seeing the lack of comments, you might think you're making this without anyone reading it.
I'm just letting you know that I think your articles are quality, and I really agree with a lot of your points of view, and I especially like your idea for Poison Ivy as an Eco-terrorist.
Anyways, keep up the good work. I will continue to read your blog every day.
Always nice to hear. Thanks!
