News & Notes

July 12th, 2012. I don't think theaters are taking orders for tickets just yet, but keep an eye out.

Above is a fan-made poster featuring Neil Patrick Harris as the Riddler. No idea of the source, but if anyone knows, let me know in the comments. The voters here didn't think too highly of NPH as the Riddler, but he'd still be an interesting choice.

Topless Robot has a list of 10 most badass Batman comic moments.

They also have the trailer for Under the Red Hood, the Batman-centric upcoming direct-to-disc animated feature.

Apparently there are plans for a Batman stage show.

And the folks at SMBC theater have a video (with some NSFW language) that's pretty funny.

After The Scarecrow, Ra's Al Ghul, The Joker, and Two-Face, who should be Batman's next enemy in the Batman Begins/The Dark Knight series? Well, as of now we know that Tom Hardy will play Bane and Anne Hathaway will play Catwoman.

Check out the master list for all the villains covered. I've pretty much run out by now. Obviously, there are more Batman villains, but not any of significance that I know of. As of February 2009, no one is confirmed as a villain. Not the Johnny Depp Riddler, not Phillip Seymour Hoffman Penguin, nobody.
